Development of 24 apartments on Brownfield site in Town Centre.
Sitting on an prominent site in the Town Centre, this site has been vacant for a number of years. The site is also on a category C2 flood plain which prevents any residential developments. We worked with a Flood Consultant to overcome these issues and develop a robust scheme reflecting the characteristics of the area and addressing the context of the site. |

A Bespoke Environmentally Friendly Family Home, in Altrincham Cheshire.
The site off Bloomsbury Lane originally formed part of the curtilage of a large Victorian house but was sectioned off for potential development. Several applications and appeals were unsuccessful for residential development due to insensitive designs and planning policies. The dwelling aims to achieve a high level in relation to the Code for Sustainable Homes

House Remodelling in Altrincham, Cheshire.
The owners of the property looked to remodel the 1930's family home to create a contemporary, open plan family home. Several options were considered with a side extension chosen to provide a garage and utility room. A single storey contemporary rear extension created a large open plan living, dining and kitchen space linking the garden to living space. |

The tight site has a storey difference in levels and fronts directly onto the River Dee which is designated as an SAC and SSSI site. The brief called for a contemporary but responsive design reflecting the industrial and residential nature of the surrounding buildings. |
